Laziness + Computer Illiteracy = Absence of Listings. No listings. That’s the twickerati recipe for mediocre levels of success. But we also know that you like a listing. We know that you like a tip-top tip on what’s happening down ‘Nam way. And if the best local blog in Twickenham is not going to tell you what’s on, then who the hell is? OK, apart from Visit Richmond or one of the proper events sites that is? So why not just treat this item as an “homage” to the idea of a proper set of listings.
The Sign of the Strawberry – 20th & 21st March
There’s a decent programme of goings on at Strawberry Hill House but here’s one that looks particularly interesting. A ‘promenade performance’ through the house which promises , “a night of Gothic thrills and chills which culminates in a magnificent Ghosts’ Ball”. Woooo!
Bird Walk – Sat 24th March

Richmond Museum – Dickens Jubilee
What with it being 200 years since the coronation of Elizabeth II and the 60th anniversary of Charles Dickens writing Hamlet, there’s a whole lot of exhibiting and eventing going on at Richmond Museum over the next few months. JMW Turner’s House – 7th April & ongoing
The Friends of Turner’s House will be having open days on the first Saturday of every month at Turner’s house in Sandycoombe Road, East Twickenham. Details here.
Richmond Business Expo – Thur 19th April, 11.30am – 8.00pm
Up to 100 local businesses exhibiting at Twickenham Stadium. Stands, seminars, networking opportunities. Open to anyone with an interest in the local business community. Details on the Richmond Expo Site.

Fluffy critter?? Big ears? Hops around? Shags a lot? Dishes out chocolate? Yeah that’s him. The Easter Bunny hits Orleans House on Thurs 5th April for some fun for the youngsters. See Visit Richmond.
Kids Stuff from For Sanity’s Sake
* ‘Gym and Play’ at The Little Gym, Hampton Hill – Tue 3rd April, 9.30am and 12.30pm (£5 per child). An opportunity for youngsters to roll, jump, slide, swing and tunnel with expert staff to help them achieve their full movement potential.
* ‘Spring into Springtime’, Richmond – Tue 17th April, 10am and 12pm (£9 per child). A musical theatre event with West End actors Tim and Emily Mascarenhas, who run Caterpillar Music. A great introduction to theatre for little ones. Details on both incl. bookings at For Sanity’s Sake here.
It’s Behind You – Sat 19th May
The Environment Trust will be having a special event for kids, ‘It’s Behind You’ with Sir David Attenborough and others talking about their favourite predators. See the Trust’s website for more and how to book.

What the Dickens? Yes, exactly that. Richmond Shakespeare Society perform Great Expectations at the Mary Wallace Theatre in Twickenham. Details.

Fields of Vision at Orleans House Gallery – to 25 March

To mark the Queen’s diamond jubilee, OHG looks at the local area’s royal connections through art, artefacts and memorabilia. Details.
