A 79 year old woman was injured in King Street on Thursday after being hit by a car. The woman was taken to St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington for urgent treatment of serious injuries. After the incident King Street was closed to vehicles for several hours leading to severe traffic congestion in the town centre. More details on the Richmond & Twickenham Times website.
